Aaron brings over 24 years of engineering and management experience working in startups and large enterprises, building and launching products, and leading Enterprise and Platform Engineering teams at InVision and large-scale compute infrastructure teams at Netflix.
Aaron has extensive experience overseeing various areas of technology focus including defense contracting, contact center automation and telephony systems, startup and enterprise “intrapreneurship” consulting, marketing analytics, digital design, and prototyping for a wide array of industries including, across several industries including publishing, regional airlines, brand development, and television entertainment.
Aaron is passionate about growth mindset in the workplace and beyond the office, including supporting children in the Democratic Republic of Congo learning to harness their skills, strengths, and formulating teams to collaborate and achieve ambitious goals, where individuals discover their greater potential and impact while further developing their skills and education. Aaron has a blend of people and technical skills that can uniquely enable him to understand how the interpersonal dynamics of technical teams contribute to or hold us back from success.
He graduated from Taylor University with a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering. Aaron is a former Board Member of Malembe Rise.
Aaron spends a lot of time with his wife and 4 children and supporting their passions and pursuits. He can be found setting up a volleyball to be spiked, listening to one of 5 instruments be practiced, hearing about 3D game development in Unreal Engine, attending swim meets, or creating pillow forts and installing indoor swings and play equipment. For himself, he enjoys backpacking, camping, hiking, off-road driving, woodworking, and building things with his hands — things one can do alone, often in nature.
