Starting October 22nd, Google products will adhere to new restrictions and guidelines for destination pages. There are several changes, but the most impactful for our industry is that Google Ads Destination Requirements reform focuses on ads whose landing pages contain other ads or are obtrusive, such as; pop-ups, auto-playing video ads, and ads that take up the entire screen on mobile, or those that are hard to bypass and/or get around. Sites hosting these features will be banned from advertising.
